Pfaudler Waghäusel
Pfaudler (in Waghäusel, Germany) approached Industrial Safety Concept to construct a bunker for Industrial Radiography testing with Selenium-75, Iridium-192, and the occasional use of Cobalt-60.
We partnered with Pfaudler and advised on the design of the bunker, the preparatory works and helped in working out their construction plan.
When the official go was given we constructed the bunker, fabricated and installed the doors and installed the electrical network and the lights in the bunker. This construction has a useable space of 10,50m x 7,50m, with a useable height of 5,60m. The entrances of this construction were closed off with electrically driven sliding doors (equiped with a steel flap system; as shown on the pictures).
This project has been constructed in 4 weeks.
